Jig-Weight & Shrimp-Size Selection Guide
Matching your hook size and jig weight to your shrimp size puts your bait in the strike zone and keeps it swimming naturally. Use this table as a starting point — lighter weights excel in shallow flats, grass edges, and finesse/tactical presentations where a slow sink gets more bites, while heavier weights cut through current and get down faster in deeper water or strong tides. Always adjust to conditions on the water.
